Perak [Labu Sayong Factory]

Intresting place for visit @ Perak

Labu Sayong factory

It is located at Kuala Kangsar
In here there is lots of pottery making which one of the famous is Labu Sayong (water clay flask to store water).
In this village all those pottery were made from traditional method.

This is the village where the Labu Sayong is made and the sales of the variety of earthen-wares produced from this village.  It is a centre which accommodate the pottery makers as well as other cottage industry players to exhibit their expertise and to provide them stalls to market their unique products.  Its area is roughly around 50 hectares.  Located on the opposite bank of the Perak River facing the Rest House and overlooking the Masjid Ubudiah and the Istana Iskandariah, this complex houses many buildings for exhibition, display, conferences and seminars. 

Before entering the village a big black Labu Sayong can be seen



















You can experience how to make your own Labu Sayong but it takes times (few days for the process to complete) and buy some of the post made product here

1/ Put the clay into the grinder



















2/ Then pour the clay to the below magic plaster things (white color cement dtuff)













3/ Then left it to dry then pour out the left over liquid the leave it there for few days
Sooner or later after few days product form as below.













Which crafting will take place at this time after that take to burn

Ipoh [Kellie's Castle]

Interseting Place for visit @ Ipoh

Kellie's Castle

It locates near Batu Gajah
Can travel using KTM from KL to Batu Gajah then a short drive for about 15-20min from the station.

It's an unfinished, ruined mansion, built by a William Kellie Smith (Scotish planter)
There is quite a lot of mystery about the castle

It's one of the attraction @ Ipoh Perak area.

You won't regreat.
It's quite spooky in some of the area inside ...

Intersting Place for visit @ KL

Kidzania

A great place which you can hangout with your Kids for the whole day.

KidZania's content is rooted in an inspirational story of idealistic kids that formed a like-minded community, which led to the creation of a nation, their own government and nationalistic symbols to celebrate their unity.

It also led to the development of iconic citizens considered honorary KidZanians who embody the spirit and willfulness of the community and act as representatives to their ideals in disposition, outlook and principles.

Kidzania here is a mini city which you can enjoy and spending your times with your kids.
It design just look like a small town. Hard to imagine that it is in a building
I personally like the concept

Participate in an event with corp. to SMART & was given a kid to take care of and bring them around in Kidzania

Currency used here is different from outside as well called KidZos:)
In here it have 100+ role plays.

Kuala Lumpur [Tugu Peringatan]

Interesting Place  for visit @ KL

Tugu Peringatan Negara

The National Monument is a sculpture that commemorates those warriors who died in Malaysia struggle for freedom, against the Japanese occupation during World War II & the Malayan emergency which lasted for 12 years [1948-1960].
Location: Jalan Tugu, Federal capital of KL





















In here there is one of the world's tallest bronze freestanding sculpture grouping
Build in 1966
The sculpture is about 15 meters tall, made of bronze and was designed by Felix de Weldon (Australian)
The sculpture depicts a group of soldiers, with two slumped at the base and one holding the National Flag of Malaysia aloft.
The bronze figures symbolises leadership, suffering, unity, vigilance, strength, courage and sacrifice. The stones that the soldiers are standing on was imported from Karlshamn S E Sweden

Kuala Lumpur [Batu Caves]



Interesting Place  for visit @ KL

 Batu Caves
Although been to KL for couples of time haven't have chances to visit this Batu Caves.
Is one of the must visit place in KL.
PS: It is a Hindu temple.

Upon arrival you will see a huge nice statue of Hindu god, Lord Murugancan.
Statue itself is 141 feet tall.The largest statue of Lord Murugan in the world.
It was crafted by 15 Indian sculptors, and painted with 300 litters of gold pain
Estimate costing around RM2.5 million.


Climb up the stairs is also a must try activities as you will see more up the stairs

BTW it's only 272 steps




















For those who not able to climb there are some nice scenaries down as well.

because visitors will like to feed them



















PS Please don't overfeed the pidgeon or else will be lyk below haha

If wan tto see monkey will have to climb up to top

For those who feel thirsty after the climb
fresh coconut is serve just right @ the stalls
